“The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in identifying an individual in reference to the case of a critical missing person, 8-year-old Relisha Rudd, who was last seen on March 1, 2014.
The Metropolitan Police Department is unable at this time to share the location of where this image was taken, as it may negatively impact the investigation. The Metropolitan Police Department believes this individual may have information and we are only seeking to speak with him.
Anyone who can identify this individual or knows his whereabouts should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE to 50411.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the location and return of Relisha Rudd. If you see Relisha Rudd, call 911 immediately. You can also contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI.”
UPDATE from MPD:
“The Metropolitan Police Department has identified the individual in a video that was released to the public last week in reference to critical missing person, 8-year-old Relisha Rudd.
The male in the video has been interviewed and has cooperated with the investigation. However, the Metropolitan Police Department still has not learned any new information as to the whereabouts of Relisha Rudd who was last seen on March 1, 2014.
The Metropolitan Police Department wishes to thank members of the media and public for continuing to publicize this case.

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!
The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!
What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
