On a personal note as someone who moved to Woodley Park in 1997, I must say these were some of the nicest folks around. Always a kind word, always a kind greeting. They will be missed.
Ed. Note: When Capital Grocer opened near the metro some commenters expressed concern that it could impact Manhattan Market. Unclear how much of an impact the competition had on their decision.
