“We wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your incredible support at our 1829 M street NW location. It has been an amazing journey, and we are truly humbled by the love and loyalty you have shown us.
When we took over a friends lease in 2020, our vision was to transform the space into the Plant Food Lab incubator, where we could experiment and bring our new concepts to life. With your support, we were able to successfully grow our beloved Bubbie’s concept beyond our expectations.
Originally,
our plan was to transition to our Cenzo’s Italian Deli concept after a year. However, the overwhelming response and community embrace of Bubbie’s led us to extend its stay until we could open Bubbie’s dedicated brick and mortar location in National Landing.
Now, after four incredible years, our lease at the M street location has come to an end. Unfortunately, we were unable to negotiate a new lease under terms that aligned with our future plans. As a result, the time has come for us to bid farewell to our M street location.
Sunday, July 7th is our last full day at the location.
However, we are already eagerly searching for a new home for our next concept, Cenzo’s Upper Westside.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who made our time at the M street location so special. We are thrilled to continue serving Bubbie’s delicious food at our National Landing location and online directly through our website, as well as third-party platforms.
