Aos the official Onigiri (rice balls) start time is:

Hana Japanese Market is located at 17th and U Street, NW, obviously.

For those not familiar, from The Japan-America Society of Washington DC:

“The market is managed by Yoshio Tanabe and his wife Ikuyo, two Japanese immigrants that came to the United States almost 50 years ago. In November 2008, the pair opened the supermarket due to the lack of Japanese produce within the D.C. metropolitan area. They wanted their store to encompass the essence of the word “hanayaka,” which translates to “brilliant/vibrant,” while also an easily pronounceable name in multiple languages. Hence, they created the name, Hana Market, bringing a comforting atmosphere to the store.”
