“Just wanted to let you know that Motts Market, a beloved Capitol Hill “corner store” for at least 30 years (and possibly 100, no one remembers when it wasn’t there) will be closing Friday.
Apparently the landlord (and former operator) wants to sell the building. The neighbors are all sad, hoping there will someday still be a local store in this block.”
