“Dear PoPville,

I was scootering north (in the bike lane/not on the sidewalk or in the street) and was going through the crosswalk on the east side of 14th st. NW when I was hit by a car that didn’t yield on a green light to turn left on Florida Ave while traveling south on 14th st nw at roughly 6:10pm on Sunday 4/4. There was a super kind woman who saw everything across the street and helped me out but I didn’t get her info because I was just so embarrassed and in shock.

If this is you, you know who this is, or this isn’t you but you witnessed this minor incident can you please let me know?! [Ed. Note: Please email [email protected] and I’ll put you in touch with OP.]

The driver wanted me to pay for the damage to her car and after waking up this morning I realized I might be a little more sore than I originally thought, so any witnesses would be greatly appreciated.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
