“Saturday night we’ll be open for one last Michigan game (and then closed at 8 PM for a private party) and Sunday will be the last full day. Next Tuesday will be a Drink The Bar Dry party (no food) where all booze will be $5 (except cocktails. We’re already closing, don’t make us do work).
It’s been a fun seven years in the space from KBC until now, but it’s time for us to move on and focus on Ivy and Coney and Epic Curing, our new cured meat company. We love the family that has developed from the restaurants and we look forward to still running into people around Columbia Heights.
We’ve sold it to a nice couple from the neighborhood who are gonna do a restaurant in the space some time in the new year (I’m not sure what it’ll be).”
