OG Thai-Xing Reopens in LeDroit Park!!

515 Florida Avenue, NW

Thanks to Jeremy for sharing the great news that the original Thai-Xing has reopened for business: “I had dinner there last night and it was amazing.”

I believe this location had been closed at least a year, right? Thai-Xing opened their second location, 2020 9th St, NW, near 9:30 Club back in 2014. I’ve always felt that the original location was superior but that could be just cause I’m an old dude. Anyway, great news!!

From their website:

“Every Night is Chef’s Choice Pre-Fixed Menu

Pricing varies according to day and number of people in your party.
You will be served 5 to 7 courses of home-style Thai cooking including dessert. The menu rotates daily with a few mainstays including the ‘Pumpkin Curry’ which was picked by Washington Post as one of the “Top 40 Dishes You Shouldn’t Live Without”.

No milk products are used in our food and most dishes are easily made gluten-free. We can accommodate many food allergies. Please indicate preferences when booking your reservation and notify your server.

We can accommodate large parties and also offer private floor options. Please note, there is a $10 surcharge per person for groups of 5 or more every night of the week (this does not include gratuity) and a requested deposit for reservations of 8 or more. Please call 202.332.4322 to coordinate with our team!

At both locations, we now serve non-alcoholic drinks including Thai iced tea, Thai iced coffee, hot green tea, coconut water, and Thai iced green tea. At the 9th St. location, we also serve wine, beer, and liquor.

We now offer à la carte options based on the rotating fixed menu dishes of the evening if you order to-go or dine at the 9th St. bar.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
