Laoban Dumplings coming to Shop Made in DC on Friday!! Dim Sum Brunch Coming 2/10

Laoban Dumplings will take over the cafe space at Shop Made in DC with new lunch and dinner menus, beginning February 2nd.

Together, Shop Made in DC and Laoban will also launch new event programming for February: a Chinese New Year’s Party on Friday, 2/16 at 8pm; Dim Sum brunch on Saturdays & Sundays beginning Feb. 10; and a weekday dumpling/beer happy hour.

Dumplings, 6 for $8 / 8 for $10  – choice of 3 meats and 1 vegetarian (will open with Pork Cilantro, Ginger Chicken, Lanzhou Beef, and Livin’ on the Vedge)
  • Meat options will include a rotating selection of Pork Cilantro, Five Spice Pork, Pork and Chive, Ginger Chicken, Thai Chicken, Xinjiang Lamb, Lanzhou Beef
  • Vegetarian options will include a rotating selection of Livin on the Vedge (bok choy and shiitake), Farmer’s Fancy (mix of 8 veggies and tofu)
  • Comes with two dipping sauces, Fiery Godmother, a chili oil blend, and the So So Sesame, a soy-sesame-vinegar blend
Soups, $12 per bowl (12 oz)
Lanzhou Beef Soup – beef bone broth seasoned with a bouquet of aromatic spices, 3 beef-daikon dumplings and garnishes (cilantro, scallions, chili oil)
Chicken bone broth – chicken bone broth seasoned with ginger and garlic, with 3 chicken ginger dumplings and garnishes
Pork bone broth – pork bone broth with 3 pork cilantro or pork & chive dumplings and garnishes
 
Greens (mix of baby spinach, baby arugula, watercress, pea shoots, red cabbage & cilantro) with choice of 4 dumplings, $10 (option to add additional dumplings for $1.25/ea)
 
Side Salads, $2 each
Cuke Salad (cucumbers, cilantro, Chinese vinaigrette)
Roasted Broccoli Peanut
