Shop Made In DC Now Open – Check Out Who’s There plus the current beer list

1330 19th Street, NW

Shop Made In DC, a new brick and mortar store and café stocked exclusively with DC brands and concepts, opens today at 1330 19th Street NW in the Golden Triangle neighborhood of Washington, DC. The unique 2,500 SF store features a rotating selection of products designed, crafted, built and made in DC, including jewelry, clothing, paper goods, accessories, furniture and food products. Starting today, customers can shop DC-made items from brands like DISTRICT of CLOTHING, Hollow Work Ceramics, Milks Letterpress and Mallory Shelter Jewelry; view the Makers List for the complete list of 24 participating brands.

The in-store cafe opens today with a menu of bagels, bialys, and breakfast sandwiches from Bullfrog Bagels, alongside a coffee program by Small Planes Coffee. Shop Made in DC is the first location for the local coffee roaster, which will offer a full menu of espresso beverages and cold brew. New concepts Dorjee Momo – nomadic Tibetan cuisine from Chef Dorjee Tsering – and Tortilladora – southwestern tacos and sides by Chef Ed McIntosh – will share the Shop Made in DC café, with their own menus available for lunch and dinner daily. Thunder Beast craft root beer and Craft Kombucha are on draft at the café, in addition to a selection of RunningByrd Tea and Misfit cold-pressed juices.

Neighborhood Restaurant Group’s Beer Director, Greg Engert, has curated a selection of drafts at the in-store café, including ANXO Cider and a cocktail from One Eight Distilling, made with Rock Creek Bourbon, lime juice and allspice soda. Engert plans to rotate in a selection of beers from each DC brewery; the following menu is available beginning today:

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
