“The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) announces that beginning Friday, June 30, spray parks will operate from of 9:30 AM to 8:30 PM
. Additionally, in observance of the Independence Day holiday all DPR administrative offices, summer camps, recreation/community centers and indoor aquatic facilities will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. Outdoor aquatic centers will operate from noon to 6 pm on Tuesday, July 4th.
DPR PERMITS, FIELDS AND COURTS:
– All synthetic fields, playgrounds, tennis courts, and basketball courts will close at 6 pm.
– The permits office will be closed. All previously permitted events will take place as scheduled.
– Please note that fireworks are NOT allowed on ANY DPR properties, fields, playgrounds, basketball courts or tennis courts.”
