  • That’s pretty sweet, even if it’s losing its accuracy of late.

Is it a bad thing that we are more of a black and white cookie, than a chocolate bar compared to the last 50 years? I though the idea was we all get along and live together peacefully?

      • There’s no implication of good or bad in my statement. Things change, that’s the nature of city living. Some people have a hard time accepting that change as a natural state of being, others have a viewpoint that only goes back as far as what’s convenient for the point they’re making.

It is the consequence of gentrification and not the consequence of we now all get along in a post-racial world. So it is a bad thing for some people and a good thing for others.

    This is beyond boring.

    14th and S Street NW…interesting.

    • I didn’t notice the address originally. That’s arguably one of the most gentrified blocks in the city, and far from “chocolate” by any stretch of the imagination. Maybe put up as a reminder of what once was?
