633 Pennsylvania Ave, SE

The much anticipated Hank’s on the Hill opens up in the old Ba Bay space at 633 Pennsylvania Ave, SE. You can see their menus here. We’ll be back for a proper judging in a few weeks. I can’t wait to see how it compares to the Dupont location.

Cannot wait! A new HH spot near my office I can actually get excited about…

Why is there still paper on the windows? One big mistake a restuarant can make is to open before the place is ready. I love the Dupont location but I hope they did not rush things here.

      This is an outdated picture.

    Please add lunch!

Just ate there! Excellent food, friendly staff, good service and a beautiful space. It may be better than Dupont and that’s a high bar.

Wait a minute!!!!! How did this one slip through the cracks on the Dupont Circle group of 5?? I see an appeal in the future.

Seriously! That sidewalk seating is only five miles from my house! Won’t somebody PLEASE think of the children?!

Passed by her last Monday and there was a lot of activity so I assumed they were opening soon. Guess I was right.

I don’t think it was going to take long to make the inside what they needed it was already a restaurant and the space was very open so that would have sped things up.

It looks beautiful and it was packed last night. I’ll try it once the excitement dies down a little.
