“Dear PoPville,

I was involved in a relatively serious motorcycle accident today at the corner of 16th and U at a little after 10am. Thankfully, some bystanders came to my aid and stopped the crazy amount of bleeding that was happening in my right arm, perhaps saving my life and maybe even the arm itself. In any case, I am writing for 2 reasons: First and foremost,

I would like to share my heartfelt thanks to these everyday heroes that sprang to my aid, and, second, I would like to get witness statements from anyone that saw the incident. The person who clearly was at fault (they turned left right in front of me as I was going thru the intersection east on U) is apparently trying to peddle a narrative that I ran a light or some other nonsense…definitely not the case.”
