From an email:

“The Anthem is introducing outdoor dining on District Pier to give fans a new way to experience The Wharf.

The Anthem is pleased to announce their brand new pop-up waterfront bar and restaurant Camp Anthem, which will open to the public this Friday, June 19th from 4:30pm to midnight.

  • Located on District Pier, each table on the pier is covered by a cabana tent, and seats up to 6 people.

  • Reservations must be made in order to attend. There is a two-hour max at each table to allow thorough cleaning in between time slots. All reservations can be made here: theanthemdc.com/campanthem

  • The reservation fee is $250 per cabana (approximately 40 dollars each when you attend with a group of 6). This amount is applied toward your food and beverage tab.

  • The menu is rotating but includes lighter fare, entrees, dessert, wine, beer and specialty cocktails.

  • Guests must be 21 or over but children are welcome when accompanied by an adult.

  • Camp Anthem is pet friendly! All dogs are welcome on a leash.

  • Hours

    • Thursday and Friday – 4:30 – 12:00am

    • Saturday 2:00 – 12:00 am

While this effort does give The Anthem an opportunity to bring in some revenue, there is still much more to be done in order to save The Anthem and other independent venues that communities like The Wharf rely on for jobs and entertainment. The hope with Camp Anthem is to give fans an outdoor experience at The Wharf and bring the community together. For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
