  • The answer to this is (hopefully) obvious, but will they be showing the NBA finals?

  • Can we assume they will have complete coverage of the world cup?

    • I’d hope they can sort that in the next 3 years. That’s if it takes place with the possible UEFA boycott.

      • Ummmmmmmmmmm….I think he means the women’s world cup – which starts next week. Girls can play sports too you know.

        • Ummmmmmmmmmm…. He could also mean the Rugby World Cup or the Chess World Cup (both of which take place this summer). Or he could be confused about the dates and be referring to the recently completed Cricket World Cup or Bandy World Cup.
People can play sports other than soccer you know.

        • Yes, the women’s world cup, also known as the world cup. The one we actually have a chance of winning.

  • I emailed the GM to see if he could make an appearance here to answer some questions.

  • Better food, better service (it was seriously awful) and the ability to show ALL the games (MLB, NFL,NBA, NHL) will get me back in there. Any info on menu changes or if they move the TVs around for better viewing? Wish them the best of luck.

  • I sat at the bar the handful of times I went and my experience was always good. I had no problems with service and the food I had ranged from slightly above average (the tacos) to really good (the wings). The owner and staff were always friendly and attentive. I’d encourage everyone to give them a(nother) chance.

  • Does anyone have a link to their new menu?

  • I’ve been to the Pitch twice and had a great experience both times. The food was good and the service was friendly. I’ve not gone there for the specific purpose of watching sports but I can’t imagine there being any more TVs or better viewing angles. It’s a great space and I hope they do well.

    • If you sit at the upstairs bar, there isn’t even a TV to watch. Or at least there wasn’t before the re-launch.
