In Less Pleasant Animal News – $5,000 reward for info on a Cat Shot in the Eye with a BB Gun

From Washington Humane Society:

“On Friday March 13, 2015, a young, grey, male, domestic short haired community cat was recovered from the 1400 Block of G St. NE with an eye injury. Upon treating the cat he was found to have a BB lodged in his eye. Based on the condition of the eye/wound it is suspected that the cat was shot not much earlier than the day he was recovered.

The Washington Humane Society is seeking the help of the community for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this horrific act of animal cruelty. The Washington Humane Society is offering a $5,000 reward that will be given to any person who provides such information.

If you have any information about this case, please contact the

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
