  • Seriously, is this a typo? If not, maybe I should rent out my place and move here instead.

  • This place is gorgeous. I can’t imagine why it is so cheap. If it’s really this low, I may abandon my house and move.

  • I think its a typo. Found it on another site for $6,700/month.

  • I smell scam. That MRIS number points to that address, but the rent is 6,700 a month.

    That’s more like it.

  • KSB

Yeah, I’m thinking they transposed the numbers and it’s supposed to be $7200/month. Gorgeous.

  • I remember a few years back there was a listing for a 1 br in a Class A building on 14th. I promptly contacted them, telling them that I was a grad student who is very respectful, considerate, non-drinker, non-smoker, etc. The next day they contacted me and told me that they liked what they’ve heard and had selected me out of dozens of applicants. Unfortunately, they were out of town b/c their son had just died in a car accident in Europe. However, we could still do the deal if I went to the BofA and deposited 6 months rent in advanced. I actually went to the property and management there told me that they had no listing. I reported the scam to BofA and MPD and nothing come out of it.

  • Maybe it’s haunted? Still a good deal though.

  • At that price for that block, as long as the ghosts are non-violent, they can open and close all the cupboard doors they like and giggle and run up and down the hallways all night long every night of the week.
Heck, at that price, I’d probably overlook occasionally violent ghosts. Maybe even frequently violent ones.

  • They jacked up the price to $6,700…
