  • Oh my. What’s next, a Benetton?

  • None of these places is there is going to build traffic. They really screwed up,

  • they are shooting for rodeo drive but are missing the super, super high end stuff and places for people to stop for small plates and white wine while shopping.

    • There are two highly anticipated restaurants from NYC and a coffee shop in the works. Also, I thought Ferragamo, Hermes, Gucci, and Louis Vutton were “super” high end?

The target demographic at City Center is going to be high net worth Asian and South American tourists and gifts for lawyers mistresses. I’m glad they decided to go super lux retail instead of the predictable combination of : Horrible grocery store (Safeway/Giant), Sweet Green, Vida, and Busboys and Poets) that every other major development in DC is going for.

If a Bloomingdales or Neiman Marcus is in the works for the next phase this will be the prime retail destination in DC.

  • I’m happy to see they made their storefront unique and not just use the CityCenter facade. Looks nice!
