“Dear PoPville,
My wife and I moved to Trinidad in 2012. We’ve had nothing but great experiences. Last week though, we fell victim to a package thief. I have to say, we’ve been very lucky because we just had a son and we’ve been getting dozens of baby shower packages delivered without incident. Hilariously enough, the stolen package was a box of diapers, baby wipes, and breast pads for my wife and newborn son.
MPD came to our house last night with the missing package and said that the caught a “young man from the neighborhood” who had ditched several packages in an undisclosed area…. ours was in that pile. They didn’t see this man with our package in his hands, but he had others. The MPD was returning all packages to their proper owners and following up on police reports, etc.
Just want to give big thank you to the MPD. They’re doing an awesome job.”
