First of all, the pictures on that listing are terrible.
Yeah, they’re amazing.
Also, didn’t Bhudda Bar go out of business?
Hence “Ed. Note: Bhudda bar has closed.”
the roomba iphone camera attachment is AMAZING!
The pictures are awful, but the place looks like it might be really nice. Not a really bad deal at all.
That made me dizzy.
i believe this place was a short sale, previously, my wife and i looked at it (or a VERY similar unit in the same building). It was nice, just not our style… and didn’t want to deal with the short sale thing (although some short sales work out just fine… others drag on). Guess other people felt the same way, it was almost a year ago that we looked at it.
I was under contract on this place in April though not quite sure what unit this is. Beautiful place but a very strange bathroom layout. Lots of issues with the seller/owner and some serious structural and legal issues with the building. Good for a rental but way overpriced.
It’s not a great deal, but it’s not “way overpriced” either. 2 bedrooms at the Yale apartments and Cista Vista rent out for at higher rates and they are exactly one block away.
This building doesn’t have comparable amenities, but I’m thinking $2,800-$3,000 is appropriate for a high end rental on a nice block in Mt. Vernon Square.
Anyone using the words “booze” and “gorge” as verbs in a real estate listing needs to be fired.
