Looks like it’s in pretty good shape for having not been renovated since the Ford administration. Those doors and kitchen are hideous. Overpriced.

I googled “real estate acronym sgd” and it turns out it’s “sliding glass door.” That listings seems more designed for other real estate agents than for the general public.
Silly acronyms like that should have died along with newspaper classified ads.
Unless PoP has restrictive character limits – these realtors should spell it out.
Ew, no way. Even in this market that place is overpriced.
The price is too damn high! Seriously though, you can hop on the H line buses and get to Columbia Heights or Cleveland Park easily enough, but the metro is otherwise a good 12-15 minute walk away. And that kitchen needs to be updated. It’s horrendous.
With updating, that price might be fair. But not as it stands, in all its early 70s glory.
Most people don’t go to the metro from here. Mostly use the S or 42 buses.
I must be the exception that proves the rule.

I lived in that condo from 1996 to 1998 and it was a great location and a great apartment for a single person. I agree that now the kitchen seems dated and needs to be updated but the closet space is generous and the fire place is wonderful. The rest of the owners in the building are very cool too. I’m still friends with some of them. The price does seem high but I’ve been out of the rental market since 2005 when I bought my condo.
My wife and I lived in this building a couple of years ago. No idea what your unit looks like, but ours was really spacious and we loved it when we saw it. However, the biggest problem we had with our unit was that you could hear EVERYTHING through the walls. You could hear people coughing, talking, watching TV in neighboring units. It’s not something you would notice when you first visit but that drives you crazy when you live there….
What kind of person can afford to spend $1775 on rent alone?? With utilities, that’s going to be $1850+. That’s over half my monthly income… I don’t understand how anyone can afford to live in this city.
I looked at an apartment in this building a few years back. The worst part was that the windows looked out over a neighboring backyard that looked like it was owned by a hoarder. The yard was just full of trash and other crap.
