“I talked to one of the construction workers this morning and he confirmed with me that it will be a restaurant with a bar. Unfortunately he didn’t know what kind of food will be served.”

A restaurant, on U St? Color me shocked!
I’ve seen some of the garbage being thrown out from the space and I would think twice about eating there. I know it’s being gutted, but it still will play a little on the psyche. Otherwise, I’m hoping for a fusion small plates, cupcakery (real word?!?), crepe, pie and burger joint.
