Judging Restaurants – Crios Modern Mexican

Anyone have a chance to check out Crios which opened in late July at the former Vento space at 2120 P St, NW?
Their Website says:
We are sisters, Joanne and Julie Liu, and our parents immigrated to the United States over thirty-five years ago and started Jenny’s Chinese Restaurant. Through years of hard work and resilience, they created what is now Jenny’s Asian Fusion on the Southwest D.C. waterfront. In 2009, we opened Scion Restaurant.
We’ve always had a love for Mexico’s vibrance and dynamic, and especially for its fresh and bold cuisine. With Crios Modern Mexican, we aim to create a welcoming and energetic neighborhood restaurant serving delectable food and drink.

Does the lack of responses mean that no one has been there?
i’d never even heard of it.
They need to get some umbrellas or an awning if they want people to sit outside. Without shade they’re limiting outdoor seating to a couple of weeks in the spring and fall, except even then not in the afternoon when anyone on the east side of the table is staring directly into the Sun. And empty outdoor tables on nice days make me think nobody’s eating there, which makes me not want to try it out.

Been there, service was great! Food was creative but …meh. probably wont go back
I’ve only had drinks there but liked the space and the menu. Good beer list. Will go back!
