New Community Market Launching in Logan Circle this Saturday

Today the DC MEETMarket — the place where culture and neighbors collide — announces its 2012 schedule with a series of once a month, Saturday shows held at the corner of 15th & P NW (in the St. Luke’s Church parking lot) beginning July 21st and ending November 17th. This community market in Logan Circle will feature the best of local independent art, food, music, and fashions.

The first show in the series is this Saturday, July 21st from 11am to 5pm.

On hand will be silkscreened pillows & home accessories Naked Decor, the biting comic stylings of Howszit Funnies; beautiful jewelry by Lanyapi; vintage finds by AwApplesauce; knit accessories by DeNada Designs; incredible art by April Alayne; oven-fresh goodness from the Evergrain Bread Company; the vinyl stylings of DJ Dianamatic; the culinary delights of Merlindia’s own Fojol Brothers and much, much more.

Following this weekend’s July 21st event, will be Saturday shows from 11am to 5pm on: August 18th, September 15th, October 20 and November 17.

Artists, crafters, causes, authors and community leaders interested in applying for these upcoming events may apply here.
