The Craigslist ad says:

“This apartment is available now and features stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer, and 10 foot ceilings. The rent includes an underground parking space and storage room, electric and cable are the responsibility of the renter.

The building has a roof deck and two community rooms with free wi-fi.

Location is two blocks from the downtown area/McPherson Square metro and 4 blocks from the Whole Foods on P Street. Great location in DC’s first green building.”

$1650 sound right? You’ll be near a brand new Jimmy John’s

  • Sounds kinda small, but in a great location and with a WD and parking, I’d definitely take it if I wasn’t locked into a lease.

  • I’d have a killer commute but then I’d have no friends, no money, and no space.

  • not sure what’s more disgusting, the fact that someone would charge $1650 for a glorified closet, or the fact that someone would actually pay that and think it’s a deal.

  • Pretty good deal actually since it’s quite new construction and includes an underground parking space (runs $225-250) there, very close to Logan/Dupont, McPherson metro. 450 sq ft is decent size for studio.

  • It’s expensive, but the location is great. Good deal if you have the funds.

  • It is really small, but those of you that think that it is expensive haven’t looked at rents in DC recently. I think this is actually a pretty good deal considering what other stuff is going for in the area.
