  • Neat to see Pablo’s post, just this year I noticed our local clan loves to strip off the budding oaks buds. Didn’t realize they do that.

Great link to the old post. With our Petworth Oaks all about, we’ve got at least 15-30 of those little punks per 1000 sq ft. They rule all the rooftops and attics too. They are winning this war. Unfortunately, no poisons or bb guns at this locale. *&^%!

  • I used to have no problems with squirrels. Then I paid several grand for a new garden. Now I understand how Bill Murray’s character in Caddy Shack felt about that gopher. And I know those squirrels are laughing at me.

  • Once a squirrel was waiting for me in my living room when I came home. He left his footprints everywhere.

He stared at me without moving when I arrived home.

He ate holes through my screens multiple times.

He waited for me on the window ledge. He knew when I was home and when I wasn’t. He was the worst stalker I’ve ever known. He even saw me in my bedroom.

My friend bought me a book on how to get rid of squirrels, and I don’t remember what I did, but I did whatever it said, and it worked.

  • Don’t matter who did what to who at this point. Fact is, we went to war and there ain’t no turnin’ back. I mean, shit, it’s what war is, you know? Once you in it, you in it. If it’s a lie, then we fight on that lie. But we gotta fight.

  • Speaking of squirrels, seems i have one living in my attic – hear him all night scuttling around and munching on what could possibly be my electrical wires. POP and others – do you knwo of any company that can come and chase the animal out, as well as seal the hole he may have come in?

  • squirrels eating my frikkin’ bulbs. Like the spring grinch or something.
