  • Sounds like a reasonable price for that piece of real estate in Washington, DC to me.

  • This sounds pretty reasonable to me!

  • I live right next door. A few of the units have already sold. I’d consider the layout pretty lame. One bedroom is very small, as is the combined kitchen/living/dining area. The renovations are not high quality. One of my housemates’ cars was stolen a couple months ago from the “parking” area behind the buildings. Another housemate’s car was broken into and seriously damaged. But the price is right for being so close to the metro in an area that is destined to be a lot nicer in 5-10 years. I’d park on the street though. There’s also one of those dinosaur drawings etched in the sidewalk in front of these buildings, which I’d consider a plus.

  • I thought it sounded like a really good deal. 800 sq. ft. isn’t that big for a 2BR, but with these units you could get at least a second space that could be used as an office for a lot less than 1BRs sell for in many areas. Interesting to hear about the car break-in problem, as I’ve always thought there were very few car break-ins around here – good to know. I thought the location of these within Petworth is good – very close to metro and some of the new businesses, while being off NH Ave and Georgia Ave, so a bit quieter (that said 7th St is fairly busy, too). Still, a nice deal for the $.
