It looks like they did some solid reno work here. I’m curious what you think about the both the outside and inside. It’s been on the market for 84 days and there’s only been a $20k reduction in price. Do you think it’s possible it’ll go for the asking price of $540,000?

  • I do not care how nice it is… is still only has 1.5 baths

  • Maybe if it were a house, but that’s steep for a condo–especially one with bedrooms in the basement.

  • Bad deal for a condo…. You can buy a house in the same hood for that. Granted it might need some TLC.

  • That renovation looks awesome. I will welcome back the days where a dwelling like that fetches the price it deserves.

  • If it was for the house, absolutely. As a condo, no fricking way.

  • that’s one of the coolest parts of columbia heights

  • Damn..I used to live at this house for a good 3 years or so. It had only one small bathroom, but was quite livable. It could easily sleep 4. One larger bedroom, two smaller ones and the attic where I lived. Would you believe that just 3 years ago the ENTIRE house was going for UNDER $1200 a month in rent. Damn, those were the days. My first 9 years in DC I never payed more than $300 a month in rent.
Oh and the parties. We’d turn that basement into a dingy dance club outta a disreputable neighborhood in Berlin, with mattresses in the corner for “relaxation”. Maybe some of you made it???
