“Dear PoPville,
Have you heard anything about a whole bunch of restaurants closing in union station? I heard from a colleague this morning that Einstein brothers, Dunkin’ Donuts, and another restaurant were all shuttered when they went there today.”
I placed calls to the Dunkin and Einstein Bros. but the calls went unanswered…

“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District and Amtrak Police announce an arrest has been made in reference to Display of Certain Emblems and Defacing Private/Public Property Offenses that occurred in the First District.

From the Mayor’s Office yesterday “in response to the drawings of swastikas found at Union Station, Mayor Muriel Bowser released the following statement”:
“This morning, commuters in the District of Columbia were met with the disturbing sight of swastikas drawn on our historic Union Station. This symbol of hate displayed in our city is both shocking and unsettling, particularly on the heels of International Holocaust Remembrance Day. (more…)
