Is it just me or is it a bit sad a sign like this has to exist? The sign is pretty sweet though…

I’ve come to appreciate Seafood & Things but Seafood & Crab just seems a bit redundant… This is from 14th Street south of U near my beloved Taco Bell.

I have a weakness for kung fu signs. But I’m really curious about “Lion Dance” is… This was taken on U Street between 15th and 14th.

The reader writes that this is from From Mt P St., just north of Irving. I’m digging the scissors.

The reader snapped this photo “down in Shaw”. I’ve noticed this sign many times. This is a great angle of it!

When I’ve posted in the past about atrocious pop ups people have often advocated for historic districts to prevent horrendous additions. So what is the counter argument against Historic Districts? Can historic districts be too restrictive? I spotted this sign in the Adams Morgan neighborhood.

I don’t think it’s possible to get any better/worse than this…

I noticed this sign at the Foot Locker on 14th Street just south of U Street. A layaway program for sneakers! Insane! This is the most frightening sign I’ve seen a very long time.

I’m not sure what it says but I dig it nonetheless…
Can anyone translate it?
