Earlier today (Tuesday, 4/11) I was waiting for a train at the Eastern Market metro station. A well-dressed man around my age approached me, and after switching my hearing aid from mute, I realized he was trying to talk to me about my Ghost (band) tshirt. We chatted for a minute about the summer tour before I hopped on a train, and since then I’ve been wondering what if I had stuck around for the next train to chat with him some more. If you’re reading this, I’d love to chat some more!”

“Dear PoPville,

Can you help me find a slightly belated missed connection? On Wednesday April 5th around 1:30pm at Bread Furst, a handsome dark-haired guy with some stubble was just trying to buy half a loaf of bread. The bakery doesn’t sell halves, but I offered to buy the other half from him if the bakery cut it. He didn’t have venmo; I didn’t have cash—so he just gave me the half loaf! I wish I’d given him my number and offered to buy him a drink some time!
