“Dear PoPville,
Sending a missed connection that should not have been a missed connection because I had ample opportunity to not be a coward, but alas!
On Tues, 4/4, my friend and I spent a few hours sitting next to a handsome and funny gent wearing a Maruchan Ramen sweatshirt at Fat Pete’s. (more…)

“Dear PoPville,
I was out on a long run this past Sunday afternoon (3/26), crossing the Arlington Memorial Bridge, when a cute runner caught my eye. We glanced at each other as I stopped to take a photo of the view. Then we both crossed over onto the VA side of the Mount Vernon Trail and proceeded to pass each other several times as I kept stopping to take blossom photos. At one point you attempted to say hi, but I awkwardly sped past you. We both crossed back into DC on the 14th street bridge, then went in different directions. If you’re reading this and interested, I would love to go on a run sometime! I was the girl in the black shorts and blue tank. I will know it’s you if you can tell me what language you said hello in. :)”

“Dear PoPville,
I was picking my friend up at her apartment off of U Street on Sunday (3/26) and I pulled into the alley next to her building so I wasn’t waiting and blocking traffic on the street. As I was bopping along and singing out loud to Maggie Rogers while scrolling on my phone, (more…)

“Dear PoPville,
Last Thursday (3/23) I went to Proper 21 for happy hour with two coworkers. As we were walking by the patio to the entrance, I made eye contact that seemed to linger a couple beats longer than the norm with a guy who was already drinking in the patio area with some others. He was wearing a suit and looked kinda like the Crown Prince of Jordan. (more…)
