“Khmow is 16 years old and mostly deaf and blind. She went missing on Monday afternoon at the east edge of Rock Creek Park in SIlver Spring and was spotted Tuesday morning around 9:40 am entering Rock Creek Park at Oregon and Unicorn Lane. She has also been spotted in Chevy Chase DC, Colonial Village, and Hawthorne. She is very nervous but might be lured with meat or cheese. She has medium-length fur, a white muzzle, and black head and ears.

“Found Dog Hit by Car Near Rock Creek Last Night. Looking for Owner”

“Dear PoPville,

My friend was driving near Rock Creek Park in NW at 1:30am last night and came across a dog that had been hit by a car.

FOUND DOG!! Female brindle pit mix I think. Sharing in hopes of finding her owner as she had no tags or microchip. I was driving on Rock Creek Parkway near Waterside exit in NW DC last night around 1:30am and saw a dog on the road that had been hit by a car that was pulled over with its hazards on. The guy confirmed he hit her but didn’t seem to be doing anything about it so I put her in my car and took her to the vet where she is now. (more…)

“Hi name is Cal, he’s a 2 year old Black and Tan hound/cur mix. He’s really sweet but is scared and may be hard to catch. A little food would do the trick! Mini schnauzer Frank is still missing

“UPDATE: 10/17 Frank is still missing. We have extended our search to around Benning Road NE and down Bladensburg Road NE and we have posted large laminated posters in the areas.

We have received several sightings within a 2-3 mile area of NE and SE, but have not been able to locate Frank. I appreciate everyone keeping a look out as we continue to search daily for my sweet little guy. (more…)

Last seen at Pennsylvania and Potomac Ave SE. His collar and leash were found at the footbridge along the Anacostia trail.

His name is Frank–He’s a Liver Tan Miniature schnauzer, 3 YO and weighs 15 lbs.
He’s extremely scared and fearful of strangers and will run.
