I live up in upper northwest 3900 block of Harrison and I often see foxes at early in the morning, in my yard walking my dog, some are pretty surprisingly big, like 35ish pounds, which can be a little concerning with when walking my very petite golden retriever, she is only 60 pounds. Thanks to a reader for sending: “Black Rat Snake crossing Columbia Rd NW from abοout the northwest corner with Wyoming Ave and then heading directly into the shrubbery in front of Gelmarc Towers (1930 Columbia Rd NW). Several of us pedestrians teamed up to stop traffic to get it across the busy road safely. Resulting in a few pissed off drivers and one happy rat eater.” (more…)
