From an email:

“As a Black Owned Business, Interactive Outdoor Solutions, aka AArrow Sign Spinners, wanted to show support for DC’s Historically famous black owned business as well as a cause that is deep to our hearts. Ben’s Chili Bowl survived the ’68 riots by boarding up their store front and spray painting ” Black Owned” across the plywood as did Lee’s Florists right down the block. These two businesses survived the riots of 68 and then were just a few of the businesses in the U Street area as the area was extremely slow to redevelop following the riots.

Be on the lookout AArrow Sign Spinners will be posted about DC with these BLM signs!”
