From Humane Rescue Alliance: “Spring is here and with that comes ducklings. A mother duck and her babies were stuck in a courtyard in an apartment complex on Water St. NW, so Humane Rescue Alliance animal control officers and City Wildlife came to the rescue.

HRA officers were able to round up all 14 ducklings and the mother duck on Tuesday and then release them in a nearby canal. “

Thanks to Caity for sending: “We’ve seen so much wildlife lately- fox, deer, hawks, raccoons- but this guy/gal was a first. I think it’s a barred owl. He/she glared at us when my husband shouted “HOO HOO!” at it, lol.”
