“Dear PoPville,
I was walking down Connecticut this morning when I heard a large explosion sound coming from the intersection at Columbia Rd. I turned to see the driver of a 43 bus getting off the bus to examine the bus. Thankfully, another 43 pulled up moments later, and all of the passengers from the first bus offloaded and boarded the much coveted 43.”

“Dear PoPville,
I find them all up and down U and 9th Streets, usually on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Literally dozens on the street and all over the sidewalk every weekend morning! There are varying colors, sizes, and styles. I am so intrigued.”
I was gonna guess glow sticks but the blue one doesn’t look like one. Somebody enlighten us please!!
Watched a @cvspharmacy employee empty all these bottles of Clorox BLEACH into the street Friday night. When confronted, he refused to acknowledge me. #CVS wtf ? @dcwater @NCC_CNC pic.twitter.com/AoP2c0zwWQ

Thanks to Marty for alerting me to the above. CVS responded:
“Hi there, thank you for reaching out. Can you please DM us with your phone number and the exact CVS location so that a member of our team can follow up to learn more? Thank you.”
Unfortunately CDubs tells me as of noon today CVS had not responded to her reply.
Yikes all around.

Intentional or unintentional? That is the question. Or does it even matter at this point…
Thanks to Jess for sending:
“I think the Newseum is flying the DC flag upside down? I mean, we are in distress, but…”
Fortunately the Newseum quickly replied:
“Whoops, you’re right. We are fixing it right now.”
Ed. Note: Don’t feet too bad it happens and happens to the best of ’em. (more…)
Whoa, now I’m super intrigued. Thanks to John for sending the update on the once planned for Garden State space. Updates as we learn more.

“Dear PoPville,
I think every Spotify premium customer in DC was told they were being charged an Iowa Sales Tax. My take: someone at Spotify accidentally typed in 500** (Iowa Zip Code) instead of 200**
I suspect a retraction email will come shortly.”
UPDATE 6:43pm:

Strange days my friends. Strange days indeed.
