Update from a reader: “I saw it happen! The car flipped four times and then a man around age thirty or late twenties went running out of the window of the car and ran away. Turns out he stole the vehicle.”

“Dear PoPville,
According to witnesses on the scene. Around midnight. A car traveling in westbound lanes of RI Ave, jumped the curb full speed into circle, plowed thru a row of benches and iron fences, leaving a debris field, before hitting that tree, scraping off bark, and spinning around to face 180 degrees. Good thing no one was sitting in those benches or walking their dogs. (more…)

Z. writes: “Last night around 9:30 two cars raced down Girard between 14 and 15, one appeared to be chasing the other, and they were shooting at each other out their windows. Police ended up closing off a bunch of streets, but I haven’t seen any details yet. Was right in front of my apartment building”
