“Dear PoPville,
Sharing a scary interaction with a driver that apparently has a lot of anger towards cyclists. Curious if anyone else has had this experience. I was on my bike around 545am when the driver became very hostile toward me. Without any interaction or prompting, he starts screaming at the top of his lungs from inside the car “F*** YOU” repeatedly. This is my second encounter with the same driver. Read More

“Dear PoPville,
My car was hit on the street. No note of course. Pretty sure fixing it will be less than the deductible so don’t want to go to insurance. Where do people go to get dents popped out? Thanks!”

Just wanted to share a PSA to anyone with Hyundai vehicles that could be targeted by the TIkTok USB thieves (a whole bunch of Hyundai models pre-2022 that use a regular key to start the vehicle instead of a push start). There is a clinic at Lot 8 at RFK 8a – 7p through Monday (notice here!) where people can get a free software upgrade on their car. Read More

“Dear PoPville,
Do you know if there is a reason why the voice that comes out of the kiosk is so incredibly loud and if there is a way to get it turned down? I went there to try to get my car inspected this morning and the voice was so absurdly and painfully loud Read More

From WMATA:
“The future is looking clearer for Metrobus, as Metro and the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) announce the start of the 45-day minimum warning period for the Clear Lanes program. The goal is to improve bus speeds and reliability. Parked cars and vehicles illegally using dedicated bus lanes and bus stop zones slow buses down and impedes customer safety.
Under the program, cameras mounted on Metrobuses will capture video and photos of vehicles illegally operating, parking, standing, or stopping in dedicated bus lanes and bus zones. All enforcement will be handled by DDOT. Metro will not have any role in ticketing and enforcement. Read More
