“Grand Central LLC is excited to open its second sportsbook in the District of Columbia on H Street in Ward 6 in Northeast DC: Grand Central Sportsbook & Cafe (625 H Street NE). From Council Chairman Phil Mendelson:

“DC Council Chairman Mendelson released the following statement after news reports that the Virginia legislature may not fund Governor Youngkin’s proposed arena at Potomac Yard.

“The Arena and Monumental Sports have been partners with the District for almost 30 years, and a great asset to downtown,” Mendelson said. “As a deal in Virginia remains uncertain, the Council continues to be ready to welcome Monumental Sports’ change of mind. (more…)
