So bizarre to see a verizon tent set up in front of someone’s house. This one’s from S Street just west of 14th.

Not exactly sure how a Georgetown BID garbage can ends up in Petworth but I’ll take it. It’s on Georgia Ave not far from Qualia coffee.

Some friends of mine moved to Hyattsville, MD. I went to visit and took a wrong turn. I passed this. Unfortunately I had a crying baby with me at the time so I didn’t get to take as many photos as I’d wanted to but I’m definitely gonna go back!

From a press release:
“Ocean Spray’s cranberry growers take pride in delivering fresh-picked fruit to families around the world, and on October 8 and 9, they’ll be bringing their berries to Washington, D.C. with the Capital’s first-ever fresh cranberry harvest. The cooperative is bringing a stunning harvest replica along with a few of their grower-owners to share the taste, health and heritage of this uniquely American fruit.
WHEN you can see the bog: Tuesday, October 8 & Wednesday, October 9, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
WHERE you can see the bog: Union Station, 50 Massachusetts Avenue NE, Washington, D.C.
(Located outside in front of the West Colonnade)”

And next door to today’s house of the day is the great bay window with rotating exhibits. Sadly the sheep are gone for now.

“Dear PoPville,
This is the label/packaging of a gift/visa card deal. We may not be a state or have a representative, but I did not think we needed to be listed IN ADDITION to the United States because I thought we were a part of it.”

Sometimes it’s best not to think too deeply on random things but I couldn’t stop trying to figure out what was going on here:

I’ve not come close to seeing one as cool as this. Also from Forest Hills.
