Thanks to Erin for sending the update: “Atlas Doghouse opened!” (14th and E St, SE)
Atlas Doghouse’s website says:
“Atlas Doghouse proudly offers dog daycare, boarding, walking, and training services throughout the Washington DC & Bethesda areas. (more…)

Ed. Note: OP rushed to the vet but put in a call to 311 for city services to have it cleaned up – but that obviously could take a while, if ever, so if someone lives nearby can clean it up – that’d be most appreciated. And most importantly please be aware here, and elsewhere on 18th/alleys to make sure pup steers clear. If it’s cleaned up today, the same person could put more out tomorrow.
Update: “Another neighbor had cleaned most of the worst offenders up, so we removed some errant pellets. HOWEVER, there is still a lot of it on the ground in harder to access locations in the rear/alley of 1777 T St NW. @HumaneRescue has been called as well.”

“Dear PoPville,
Any intel on what happened with the Duncan Dog Hotel in NoMa? Google Maps & Yelp both show it as “permanently closed” but I haven’t seen any info posted anywhere about the why or when.”

“thanks to generous family and friends who saw our posts, we were able to increase the reward to $2,000 for Duke’s safe return.”
“Dear PoPville,
Two armed men stole our dog Duke in an attempted carjacking on Friday 9/22 at 9PM. We are so devastated and worried for him.
Duke was with our dog sitter while we were traveling for our belated honeymoon (postponed during Covid). She was driving him home to us in Hill East when she had to pull over in southern Oxon Hill MD to adjust her GPS. Two armed men approached her car, got into the back door, and took Duke. She is very shaken but thankfully was unharmed. Duke has not been seen since.
We’re begging the community to help us find him. (more…)
