Ed. Note: Back in 2017 Taqueria Los Compadres was called “Mount Pleasant’s new best kept secret.” Prior to Taqueria Los Compadres this space was home to Lezo’s Taqueria and Tex Mex Burrito before that. Updates when we learn what excatly becomes of the space.
Thanks to Erin for sending yesterday: “Spotted in Mount Pleasant today outside Taqueria Los Compadres. Such a loss for he neighborhood! Wound up stopping by yesterday and the staff there said they had new owners. Not sure what’s next, but hope they stay open in some capacity!“
