Chinatown Coffee Company Launches Friday Cocktail Program – Check Out the Menu

“Wanted to let you know that have added a cocktail program to our coffee menu,and will be slinging drinks from 5-9 on Fridays (with other days to come.) This has already started.

We’re giving 10% off to Georgetown Law students, military and government workers, and will have other nightly specials (like $3 beer) for people who live in the neighborhood.

Drinks incorporate a lot of our favorite fall flavors and items we use around the shop. Drink names are all tied into the neighborhood, and should be recognizable for anyone that lives in and around 5th and H NW.

We’re also featuring all of our favorite Cotton & Reed products, and Chacho, among other high end spirits. Our Matcha, Intelligentsia Espresso, and spiked, spicy Chai drinks have become an early hit.”

“Applicant seeks to expand its premises into the ground floor. The expansion will create 155 new seats, increasing the seating capacity from 130 to 285. The new Total Occupancy Load of the restaurant will be 325.”

Thanks to WayneMan Comedy for the update: “Someone told me Hooters in Chinatown is closing at the end of this month.”

A couple weeks ago we learned that this Hooters was listed for lease but we hadn’t heard when the closing date was. Couple more weeks to get your wings.

Now through the end of October, visitors will enjoy thousands of autumn leaves suspended above the main retail transverse of the neighborhood, creating a warm harvest sky.
