“The Fifth District Detective Unit is investigating an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) that occurred on October 16th 2019. At approximately 4:05 PM the suspect-vehicle was traveling eastbound in the 1300 block of Florida Avenue NE when the occupant of that vehicle fired several rounds at the victim’s vehicle, striking it and a second vehicle in the process. “Fifth District ADW Gun 1700 block Trinidad Ave NE

Tonight at approximately 2140 hours Victims 1, 2, & 3 report that while outside they were the victims of a shooting. The victims all sustained non life threatening injuries and have been transported to area hospitals for treatment. There is no look out for the suspects at this time. The case is currently being investigated by the Fifth District Detectives Office. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact MPD at 202-727-9099″

“On today’s date at approximately 0614 hours two men were shot while standing in front of 1657 11th Place Northeast. Both men were shot in the leg, C-1 was shot twice and C-2 was once. The men were conscious and transported to local hospitals were they will be treated for their injuries. The suspect’s description has been reported as two black males, operating a grey, 4 door vehicle. The suspects were last seen driving south on West Virginia Avenue.”

“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide that occurred on Friday, June 14, 2019, in the 1600 block of West Virginia Avenue, Northeast.

At approximately 1:18 am, members of the Fifth District responded to the listed location for the report of the sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, members located an unconscious adult male victim, inside of a vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. (more…)

“Fifth District Detectives are investigating an ADW Gun that occurred at approximately 7:15pm in the 1600 block of Trinidad Avenue, NE. Officers responded to the location for the report of gunshots being fired in the block and, upon arrival, they located an adult male victim suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition. Anyone with information related to this crime is encouraged to call MPD at 202-727-9099, or text the information anonymously to 5-0-4-1-1.”
