In a call to the Beacon Hotel I was told that BBG was closed for renovations. If all goes well they hope to open back up mid-late next year, possibly in August.

Do you have any info on the fencing going up around Freedom Plaza? Hard to photograph because of the change in grade on the peripheries of the plaza, but they started this morning and are about halfway around the block now.”

I was wondering if anyone in the area, either on Upshur St NW or in the alley between Upshur and Varnum Streets were able to catch anyone or any noise overnight. This car is my father’s main mode of transportation to and from work, since he works in construction. My father is an immigrant from El Salvador, and he worked very hard to be able to purchase this car. Understandably, this is frustrating for him and for us. It’s our first time having to deal with this.
