For over 10 years, the lot at 901 Monroe St NE in Brookland has sat vacant, even though it’s across the street from the Brookland Metro station, five blocks from a grocery store, and surrounded by local businesses. 1527 14th Street, NW previously the longtime home of Great Wall before 54 Noodles Bar

So much for “temporarily closed”

Thanks to Nate for sending the final word: the 54 Noodles Bar space is now officially for lease. Yesterday we noted that things were not looking good. Today it’s official.

54 Noodles Bar only opened here in April 2024.

Stay tuned for updates when we learn who takes over the space.
