“The team behind Side Door Pizza is opening Canton Disco, a Cantonese-inspired all-day café, restaurant, bar, and takeout concept, coming to Navy Yard in February 2026.
The project is a partnership with Chef Timothy Yu, who will helm the kitchen drawing from his family’s legacy at Hollywood East Café, a landmark Chinese restaurant in Wheaton, MD, and Brent Kroll, one of Washington, D.C.’s most respected hospitality leaders overseeing the beverage program.
The new concept will open at 1025 1st Street SE, in the space most recently occupied by Pho Junkies, and previously Justin’s Café.”
