“Dear PoPville,
A new beer garden, Valor Brewpub, opened up very quietly in Tenleytown at 42nd and Wisconsin. They have a truck set up in the parking lot next to the Bullfrog Bagel truck and have set up tables in front of the former bike store space (the bike store is still occupying the adjacent building). “Dear PoPville,
This is sad. These three businesses on Fesseden all got broken into last night. Glass doors all shattered. The Coffee Nature guy said nothing but spare change was stolen. All the businesses are cleaning up and really sad. The police just left. I was there when the workers at Sol Mexican Grill showed up for work to find the police in front of their restaurant. Pretty sad to see them just stand there staring at the door.”
If anyone lives nearby, it’d be great to shower them with love today/this weekend:

A better selection of beer, wine, hard candies, obscure desserts from Germany and Austria, pickles, tea etc. – you will not find. Also, you can get your watch battery changed in the lower level. I digress – the one hole in their shopping repertoire for absolutely everything has been liquor sales. Read More
